I’m Sasha Jones-Calvert and I'm so glad you’re here! The fact you are reading this, means you are serious about your Business and Life goals and doing what it takes to meet and exceed your definition of SUCCESS.
Most of the time, when entrepreneurs think of a business plan, it stirs many thoughts and emotions, namely…dread.
The idea of hours of research on customers and markets, org charts, projections, mission statements, and especially financials are not the vast majority of business owner’s idea of a good time. Making sure the power stays on, payroll is covered, suppliers are paid... basically the day-to-day is at the forefront, simply because they are issues in your face every day.
Business planning is a necessity for any small business to be profitable as-well-as gratifying. A solid business plan can help make those daily worries a thing of the past because they are planned and accounted for from the beginning. Business plans don’t just look at the “BIG” things like investors and exit strategies. Well thought out plans ensure that policies, processes, procedures and mind-sets are in place to handle the day-to-day operations AND take steps in achieving the overall, long-term goals of the business.
So, hopefully it is apparent that I’m PASSIONATE about helping fellow entrepreneurs create their business plans and take action towards having a Business and Life they love. How did I come to realize that plans are my “jam”?
Well… it’s definitely been a long trip with many detours, but as with the best things in life, it just came to me. After many many many (did I say many?) years in the corporate grind, and feeling deeply I just didn't belong there, but not knowing what else to do I started searching. That search took me through, and I’m still traveling, the self-development road. I’ve looked at being a virtual assistant, health coach, organizer, housekeeper, writer, life coach, planner designer and and and… “shiny object" syndrome table for one!
Each great idea was dove into with gusto which petered out at various paces. Towards the end of my rope, and nixing almost every idea, taking course after course, promising myself (and husband) that this was the last one, this one was IT (sound familiar??); I received a flash thought of how I could combine all of the aspects I enjoyed from my different ventures… voila!
My business degree, 20 years of experience, love for all things planner/organizer-ish, and a deep desire to learn, grow, and guide, brought me to… business plans! Exciting stuff, right?? Fortunately for you, it is to me! Give me a good coffee, checklist, something to research, a spreadsheet and I am one very happy lady.
